NOTES:
- Oil control was 9.5 out of 10. Pretty impressive. However, since the mixture was matte on matte, it did cling to any dry patches I had. The finish I had at the end of the night was a beautiful satin-matte.
- First time using the Maybelline Colorblur lipstick, formula reminds me of the creamy mattes, but even more soft/buttery. I got a good 6 hour wear out of it, the color stayed on throughout the night, all I put it through was talking and 3 cups of hot tea. The only thing is it did look dry on my lips by the end, but it didn't feel dry.
- First time trying out the Mehron metallic powders. Product applied smoothly and blended easily. Great color payoff. The only take away is the smell, for a metallic powder, it certainly smells very metallic, like crushed industrial metal. I was a bit hesitant about putting such a strong smelling product on my eyelids. However, removal was easy and I did not experience any skin irritation the next day. So....so far, so good.
- First time using the MR Pro Base. Um, I can't say it did anything but it definitely didn't give me any problems either. I can say it smells nice, kind of reminds me of rose water.
- Officially in love with the finish of the Laura Geller blush; jury is still out on the Milani romantic rose (color shows up, just the color may not be the most flattering on my skin tone, can't quite put my finger on it...maybe I want to like it because I hear such praise about it). The only complaint is that my blush disappeared on me at the end of the night and I only wore my makeup for 8 hours, which is average time.
