NOTES:

• Oil control was 7 out of 10. Umm, changed up the setting spray and added in an extra foundation to the mixture (one that I am trying to finish because it was expensive and I want to make sure I get my money's worth...I'm already more than halfway through with it) definitely messed with the lasting power. Last time I used only the Fit Me Matte & Poreless and got way better results.
• It has been a hot minute since I last used lip products besides lip balm and lip treatment. I really do enjoy this Clinique lip liner that I received as a surprise in one of my mailed orders last year. Packing people just snuck it into my box because I definitely did not order it and it definitely wasn't part of the gift with purchase. Bonus for me. 
• First time using this Maybelline Crazy for Coffee shade. I thought it went really well with the colors in this look, almost kind of monochromatic. I say "almost" because it is so hard for me to just stick to one color family when I am doing my makeup. If you have been following me and my looks for any amount of time, you know I like to pull in as much as I can color-wise and brand-wise. Let's just say I have a hard time committing to just one thing. 
• I think this is my second time using Verity from Devinah Cosmetics as an inner corner highlight shade. I have to say, "Great results!" I think this is quickly becoming one of my favorite matte inner corner highlight colors. Super brightening, don't you agree? By the way, I didn't realize until now how Devinah heavy this shadow-look was until I started putting the details together. No complaints from me because of all the Devinah shadows I have used so far, I've really enjoyed the pigmentation as well as the blendability of each of them.

NOTES:

• Oil control was 9 out of 10. Pretty impressed. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed wearing the Maybelline Matte & Poreless foundation. Aside from my chin (which is my problem area in terms of skin texture), the rest of my complexion appeared flawless at the end of the night. 
• Um, that B'ellegant Cosmetics highlighter is kind of difficult to use. I thought I was not putting enough on (maybe due to the hard-panning that's occurred even though it is brand new and my first time using or maybe due to my bathroom lighting or maybe due to incorrect brush type), then I get to my office and I was like, "Whoa, that's a noticeable highlight!" The color Pastel Princess is pretty, but the formula of this product is not my favorite, I've only used it once and it already has some serious hard-pan on the surface. Hopefully all of the highlighters are not like that, this is the only one I have tried from my overall purchase. I still have three more highlighters from them that I have yet to try. 
• Ok, Strobe Cosmetics eyeshadows are pigmented, sure. However, this one was not easy to blend without losing a lot of the initial pigment. It was not a dream to work with.

NOTES:

• Oil control was 10 out of 10. Amazing oil control, but I must also point out that it was quite a cold and dry day, which might have also contributed to the wear. I got a powder finish with this foundation. I noticed that this formula dries really fast, so you can either work faster when blending or work in sections when applying. This foundation does cling to dry patches (I had quite a bit on my nose from an extraction session a week ago), but it is not too unforgiving. Will probably concentrate more moisturizer in drier areas next time. 
• That Notoriously Morbid highlighter is S-O-F-T! I was applying the normal pressure I do when picking up eyeshadow product (because I use this as an eyeshadow today), and I made a decent dent by accident. I managed to scrape off the excess from my brush back into the pan and pressed it back in there. Works just fine. 
• Sigh. NYX Electro Liners. The color selection is great, BUT the product is awful. So waxy, dry, thus hard to apply. This is definitely a product that you have to work with. I keep it for now because I don't have any other eyeliners in matte light yellow, matte lavender, and matte bright red. These will do for now, but there are better options out there for sure.
