Definitely need to use a brush to get the best application results with the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation...then use the warmth of my hands to even out the streaks that may have been left behind. Using a damp sponge just takes away the product and does not spread the foundation evenly. Oil control today was 5 out of 10, considering how ridiculously humid it was outside and the hot working condition indoors, that is pretty good on my combo skin.
Having used the NYX the Skinny Mascara a couple of times, here are my thoughts: it does not work very well as the first mascara I apply on my lower lashes because my lashes are so thin and the bristles on the wand are so short that neither grabs the other. The only way I see any results is if I go in after another mascara, such as the Maybelline Lash Discovery or the Covergirl Clump Crusher. So it is a bit of a high-maintenance mascara in this sense. I probably will not be purchasing this mascara again.
I have had that Lorac liquid liner for over 6 months now, and it is still going strong. The color is still very rich and the formula still nice and fluid, no sign of drying out. "WOW" is all I can say.
