Notes:
Foundation mixture had high-medium coverage, ended up with a little too much Olive in the mix and got a little extra color than planned, oil-control was at a 5 out of 10, it was extra humid outside today.
The Darling Girl Superstar Serum is a game-changer. There is something about the mixture that yields such smoothness to the powders after mixing that it makes it super easy for me to get smooth and opaque lines. I have been using my leftover Visine drops as my mixing medium up until now, and this Superstar Serum is just a step above that. :) Also, it does not irritate my skin, which is great because it's so close to my eyes. I think I like it.
There is something about the formula of either the Nude Thrill or Gone Griege that turns super dry-looking after a few hours of wear. The lipstick feels fine on the lips, but really emphasizes the lines in the lips because of its dry appearance. I wore Nude Thrill with the Chocoholic/Coffee Addiction mixture yesterday and that was fine all night. I will test the Gone Greige by itself and see what other results I get.
First time using Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow today. I got really good use out of the Deep Purple. From that one shadow, I can tell I really enjoy the formula. Hopefully, all the other shades perform the same as Deep Purple. I will try to utilize this palette more, but that might not happen until the next time I reorganize my priority palette holder.
My love affair with Fyrinnae may never end. That Parental Advisory, that vibrant purple....[satisfied sigh] Besides the Edwardian Collection, I still have a small pile of their shadows from my last purchase that I have not gotten around to using. Oh, but all in due time. All in due time.
I took advantage of the Colourpop 20% Flash Sale tonight and picked me up some, you guessed it, more eyeshadows. [hides face in keyboard] Mainly, I really wanted that Telepathy shade from KathleenLights' most recent (as in a few months ago) collection. This sale was the perfect excuse to pick it up, along with some other shades while I was at it. It's really the same as going supermarket shopping, would you really just go there for one thing? No, you have a list of things to get, and more often than not, you walk out with more than what was on your list. Well, at least I do.
